Lilongwe wildlife center: Lilongwe wildlife trust as an organization was established in the year 2009, its situated in Lilongwe the capital city of Malawi. It’s the only wildlife sanctuary in Malawi, it was formed to ensure conservation as the main role. Given the fact that Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world, and the population literally depends on the natural resources for survival. Therefore they dependency syndrome has given rise to lots of activities has rather degrade nature environment and wildlife itself. Some of the common practices that impede wildlife survival include poaching, and encroachment on the wildlife habitat. Lilongwe through its partners both local and across the globe is harmonizing the relationship between the people and the environment and wildlife by rescuing and providing homes to the wildlife whose lives are under danger. The Lilongwe wildlife trust has also sensitize and provided education to the locals on the benefits of conservation of wildlife therefore bridging the gap between the human animal relationships whilst reclaiming the lost wildlife territories.
