This 2 Days Lake Mburo safari sees you at Lake Mburo national park in western Uganda. The park is the nearest from Kampala city, get the opportunity to explore wildlife there and carry out a scenic boat cruise on the lake to view hippos and several bird species.
Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo national park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you from your hotel and drive you west wards through Masaka road, stop by the royal drum maker center and later at the equator statue for a few photos. Proceed to Lake Mburo on a scenic drive viewing several homesteads surrounded with banana plantations, see the several herd of long horned Ankole cows on the way. The entire journey can take you 3- 4 hours. Arrive and check in at your lodge, have lunch. After lunch you will head for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo it’s just the beginning of Lake Mburo safari, you will be able to see hippos, crocodiles and several bird species. Later return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: game drive at the park and nature walk.
Early in the morning, you engage in a game drive in Lake Mburo Park in search for impalas, zebras, elands, leopard, hyenas, water bucks,crocodiles on the lake side, hippos, and giraffes. Return to your lodge for breakfast and later go for a guided nature walk to the salt lick there you will get the opportunity of viewing other animals. After you will drive back to Kampala arriving in the evening.
