Why gorillas charge?: Gorillas apparently are the largest Primates , they are categorized into eastern gorillas and the western gorillas. They share DNA  of between 95-99% with humans making them humans closest relatives. their thriving is largely in the  in the tropical and the sub- saharan region.  some gorilla Gorillas  species live in elevations thus bieng called the mountain gorillas.  Moutain  gorillas is are endangered  as much as  other gorillas species too, they can  be found in the countries of Democratic Republic of congo in Virunga national park, in Rwanda at volcanoes Rwanda national park and in uganda in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and Mgahinga gorilla national park.  There is  something common among the mountain gorillas which is their habitat being around the great virunga nassif area  that is shares among the countries mentioned. Note the the  virunga masif area  shared in the three countries is  the only place mountain  gorillas are found.

The presence of  mountain gorillas in   Uganda, Rwanda and Congo has promoted the development of gorilla  trekking and  a tourism activity.  Gorilla trekking is considered an exotic activity  and thrilling as well.  the experiences of gorilla trekking in three countries differ therefore is advisable to try out gorilla trekking in all the three countries.

  • Suround the gorillas. When you surround the gorillas, they may interpret as a way of launching an attack on them therefore it may trigger them to charge on you.
  • Wearing very bright colours while on gorilla trekking. The gorilla may respond to the bright colours since they are used to an evening with similar colour which is usually green therefore bright colours may seem foreign to them.
  • Encountering the wild gorillas groups may also trigger gorillas to charge on you. Well there two gorilla classification in the gorilla trekking arena, there is the habituated gorilla class, which is taught to get to use to human presence therefore suitable gorilla trekking activity  and there is the  wild gorilla class there has never be taught to get used to human presence . Therefore when trekkers come across the, they may charge on trekker.
  • Encountering breast feeding mothers. When you encounter those gorilla that are breast feeding, they may be aggressive   as part of a motherly instinct of any other animal.
  • Gorillas in bad mood resulting from unknown factors, it could be isolation form family or simply rejection for the family.
