Day 1 of 3 days Congo gorilla trekking safari: pick from Kigali, Kigali city tour and transfer to virunga national park in Congo.

On your first days of 3 days Congo gorilla trekking safari, you will be picked up by our guide from your accommodation in  Kigali and you will later embark on a Kigali city tour  some of the  place you will be able to visit during the city tour includes the  Rwanda genocide  memorial, that echoes the devastating  impact of the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will also be able to visit the Kigali craft shops to see some of the locally manufactures crafts.   Depart Kigali and embark on your transfer to the Gisenyi Rwanda- Congo boarder, finalise with the border crossing necessities and later cross into Congo, be received by the visit virunga  team who will later transfer you to  virunga  national park  be dropped at your  lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 of 3 days congo gorilla trekking safari: gorilla trekking in Virunga national park.

 On your day 2  of  3 days  Congo  gorilla trekking safari, you will be picked  from the lodge and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and a assignment of gorilla family to trek from ,  later embark on   the gorilla trekking adventure in search for the mountain gorillas. The exercise can take you any time from 50 minutes to 5 hours depending on the proximity of the gorilla family you have been assigned to trek from. As you move in the jungles  you will begin noticing the sounds of the tree shoots breaking and  and  that will be  beginning on your thrill,  gorilla feed heavily on plants and  tree shoots as nibbles  , so sounds of breaking  tree shoots is the   a clear sign of their presence in the area. Upon meeting them, you will be given a maximum of 1 hour to interact with the gorillas. Later you will depart and transfer to your lodge for a relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 of days Congo gorilla trekking safari:   transfer back to Kigali.

On your last of the 3 days Congo gorilla trekking safari, you will have breakfast in the morning and later checkout  and transfer to   Kigali arriving in time for your flight back home.
